Aram Rappaport was born in Los Angeles in 1987. Opting to make films instead of attending college, he wrote and directed his first feature film at age 18, an ambitious one-take drama titled “Innocent”, starring Alexa Vega. As a filmmaker, some of his most prominent credits include writing and directing the feature films “Syrup” (Magnolia Pictures) starring Amber Heard, Brittany Snow, Shiloh Fernandez and Kellan Lutz, and most recently “The Crash” starring Minnie Driver, John Leguizamo, Frank Grillo, Dianna Agron, and AnnaSophia Robb.

His commercial credits include directing campaigns for Nike, Hasbro, The State of New York, Dalmore Whisky, One Teaspoon, Optimum, Misfit Wearables, Betterment, and IT Cosmetics among others. Apart from creative work, his second passion in life is sailing, and he can often be found on his 45’ Hunter sailboat “Georgia” docked at North Cove Marina in Battery Park, NYC.
